Bio

Hugo Torres, MD, MPH is a Los Angeles native with a passion and expertise in treating endocrine and metabolic diseases, especially diabetes and obesity. 

After graduating from the University of Southern California with a BA in Neuroscience, Dr. Torres received his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco and a Master in Public Health degree from Harvard University.  After completing residency at the Cambridge Health Alliance in Cambridge, MA, he entered endocrinology fellowship at UCLA with a mission to improve diabetes outcomes in under-served populations through research and clinical practice.
